Newhaven students have been learning about the life cycle of the chicks and how to handle and care for animals within their Science lessons.
Lots of students have helped to clean them out and look after the chicks, a Year 10 class even make a race track for them to explore!
Student JB said ‘ The chicks have made me feel happy, I am already looking forward to having them back next year’
Student AE said ‘I think it’s really nice to be able to interact with the chicks, it’s been very therapeutic’
Student EE said ‘I like that the farm they come from allows them to grow old’
Student LK said ‘I LOVE THEM’
