Last year, students took part in a three week dance project in collaboration with Protein Dance producing the film ‘But I am’ which explored personal identity.
The project was amazing and all the students who took part fed back great things about it.
The film has gone on from strength to strength including being a semi finalist in an Australian film festival. I also had the pleasure of attending the Richmond Film Festival on Saturday 16th November.
‘But I Am’ had been nominated for two awards and I took part in an onstage q and a with Kay, the dance director and the composer. It was a really special day. I also have the good news that we have started another collaboration with Protein for later this year.
