Today we introduced a school approved tracksuit top which will keep our students warm, look good and still match the school uniform.
The student voice working party suggested: “We already wear tracksuit bottoms for PE and other lessons so why not have tracksuit tops every day. We are not changing the school uniform and it’s just adding something that makes us comfortable and looking smart throughout the day”.
As part of our students’ voice initiative, we listened to what the students want and what will make their school day better. The students tried the tracksuit tops and walked into the school assembly as a team, feeling proud, comfortable and smart at the same time. They absolutely loved them.
The feedback was clear and their response was really positive. They said:
“The tops were comfortable and warm.”
“This is exactly what we want to have as part of the school uniform.”
