Three students from Newhaven School had the remarkable opportunity to attend the London Youth Summit, themed Stand Up to Misogyny.
The event brought together young people to engage in meaningful discussions about tackling gender inequality and fostering respect for women and girls. All three students participated actively in the conversations, showcasing their insight and commitment to these critical issues.

One of the students demonstrated exceptional courage by sharing her thoughts and ideas in front of the 350 attendees, leaving a strong impression on the audience. Their presence at the summit was a proud moment for Newhaven School, as they represented not only their peers but also young women in general with grace and confidence.

Each student left the summit inspired, armed with actionable ideas to improve the lives of girls and women in their community, and motivated to drive positive change.
