Free interactive cooking classes for teenagers, hosted by Little Portland Street, London and in conjunction with the National Cooking Programme
The renowned cooking school, Little Portland Street are running 20 free, online and interactive cooling classes. The classes will take place every Wednesday over the summer months. They are held at 4:30pm, and started on 16th June. Follow this link for previous sessions and how you can join in live for the next one!
Top chef Stefan Lind is running the sessions and will coach young people through the processes to create a range of healthy and simple dishes such as healthy fish and chips, spag bol and roast dinner to mac ‘n cheese, pizza and even the odd sweet treat.
Free meals for kids during the summer holidays
Greenwich council is ensuring that regular meals are provided for all children and young people within the borough during school holidays. Food is served at multiple locations across the borough, and there’s no age limit for children, meaning that nutritious meals are readily available and families continue to receive support outside of school term time.
