On the 16th May 2025, Year 10 Newhaven students visited the Gerald Moore Art Gallery and to see the exhibition titled ‘Alaria’.
The theme of the exhibition which had a number of contributing artists was, ‘our relationship with natural materials and water’.
Students were guided through the exhibition by one of the contributing artists to the exhibition named Miriam Austin.
Following the guided tour, students then took part in a mixed-media mono-printing workshop inspired by the exhibition themes.
All students enjoyed the exhibition and were able to develop their skills in mono-printing. Well done to all students!
