Dear Parents and Carers,
We’re excited to share an opportunity for you to access free training and resources to support your child’s development and wellbeing.
These resources are designed to help bridge the knowledge gap in online safety, mental health and wellbeing, and climate education. In an ever-changing digital world, where social media and internet use are a daily part of life, it’s more important than ever to be online aware. Helping children to safely navigate the internet is essential, and Newhaven School feels these resources are both useful and highly relevant in today’s world.
The training package includes:
- Safety advice to help you protect your child online
- Online seminars delivered by industry experts
- Tailored materials designed specifically to help parents start important online safety conversations at home
By taking part, you’ll gain the confidence and skills needed to have age-appropriate, informed discussions with your child — helping to keep them safe, healthy, and resilient as they grow and face life beyond the school gates.
To access the training and resources, you’ll need to sign up to the website, which you can do easily using either your Google account or an existing email address.
We encourage you to take advantage of this valuable support.
