ACE Celebration

Student Voice Members recently celebrated our amazing ACE groups at a special party held at the Tramshed in Woolwich! ACE (Achieving Children’s Engagement) groups provide a platform for children and young people with SEND to share their ideas and help shape services in Greenwich.

With 14 groups running across 13 schools—including Newhaven Kings Park Campus, these meetings are flexible, interactive, and designed to meet a variety of communication and learning needs.

Over the past year, our ACE groups have made a real impact—helping select the new Head of SEND Outreach Services, contributing to national consultations, and even redesigning local spaces like the Royal Observatory.

The celebration at the Tramshed was a huge success, with excellent free pizza, a live DJ, and lots of laughter—everyone really enjoyed themselves!

We look forward to expanding ACE to involve even more young voices in the future.
