We are grateful to the Smile of Hope Charity for their generous contribution towards our Sixth Form Espire Education Kart Build Project.
Their funding enabled our students to take part in a valuable training session at TeamSport Indoor Karting in Charlton, helping them prepare for the project test day held on 7th May at Whilton Mill Karting & Outdoor Activities.
This opportunity provided students with vital hands-on driving experience, helping to build their confidence, skills and understanding ahead of the event. We sincerely thank Smile of Hope Charity for their support and for making this important learning experience possible for our students.
The test day proved to be a great success, with our students demonstrating excellent teamwork, communication, and resilience throughout the event.
With over 90 schools in attendance, they showed maturity and patience while waiting for their turn on track, representing the school exceptionally well. We are extremely grateful to Smile of Hope Charity for providing this opportunity and supporting our students’ learning and development.
