During our first block of work experience of the year, it has been great to see so many of our students out on varying work experience placements.

Following successful placement several of our students have been offered to go back on extended placements throughout the rest of this academic year, have been offered paid work and also been put forward for consideration for apprenticeships post-Newhaven.
The feedback from employers about our young people have been great to hear. Here are just some of the wonderful comments about our young people:
Student was really helpful to have around on site, always offering help and if work wasn’t offered to him, he was proactive asking if there is anything to do. He was keen, polite and done all tasks given to him, even messy/horrible ones. If in the future once he leaves school, he wants to do an apprenticeship to learn a trade please get him to contact us, and I’ll try my best to get him on one of our programs. – Axis Scaffolding
