Dear parents and carers,
I hope my email finds you all well. From today, you are no longer required to get a follow up PCR test if you test positive for Covid on a lateral flow test and have no symptoms. If this happens to your child then please notify the school and follow the self-isolation guidance. If it happens to anyone else in your household then your child can still come to school (unless they are older than 18 years and 6 months and not vaccinated) but it is recommended that they take a lateral flow test for 7 days just to be sure.
We continue to have low numbers of staff and pupils testing positive. If your child is in the same class as someone who tests positive we will notify you as soon as possible. Your child should still come to school but it is recommended that they take a lateral flow test at school. We still have tests available if you need them but numbers are dwindling and we’re waiting on an order. Please ask if you can’t get any but use them sparingly!
