Newhaven Pupil Referral Unit is responsible for the education provided in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital School Room on Safari Ward. We offer teaching to young people between the ages of 4 and 15 who have been admitted on Safari and Tiger Wards.
Engaging with the school room helps to minimise the educational disruption for the young person and plays an important role in reducing anxiety by providing distraction and enjoyment through educational activities.
