In the school room we have to consistently adapt our teaching practice in order to meet the needs of our students.
The student accounts in this newsletter examine how our curriculum provides the school room the opportunity to engage young people with different learning challenges.
We usually meet the students on the day and we sometimes have information if they have SEND needs but usually we only have the year group they are currently in. Therefore our classroom assessment process is based on student interaction and expression of interest; we then adjust activities based on how well the young person is able to engage with our base weekly class activity.
