Non-uniform day for charity Friday 9th February 2024
The school council have asked if students at Newhaven can have a non-uniform day on the last day of term and have agreed that this should come with a small donation to charity. I have discussed this with SLT and agree that this is a great idea. Students can wear their non-uniform if they wish this Friday and will be asked to make a contribution of £2 which will go to the school food bank. This is a project started by staff to support families where needed.
The school council have made some other good suggestions as well and I’ll update you on some of them soon.
