Dear Parents and Carers,
We are all concerned about the amount of violence amongst young people in our communities at the moment and I know some of you have particular concerns about your own children. Anti-knife crime charity, The Ben Kinsella Trust has launched a FREE online course for ALL parents and carers delivered by an ex police officer and which comes highly recommended. The trust who are a charity that campaigns for action and justice for those affected by knife crime and educates young people so that they can make positive choices to stay safe. They were set up following the murder of 16 year old Ben in 2008.
Exploitation, Gangs and Knife Crime Awareness sessions are a two-part course delivered over two evening sessions (March 21st and 28th 7-9pm)

Please also contact the school if you have any concerns about your child. We work with a range of organisations and agencies to work against the grooming of our young people and support them through difficulties relating to gangs and exploitation.
