Dear Parents and Carers,
I am writing to let you know that external exams are starting next week at Newhaven and will run until the 24th June. This is a critical time for our year 11s and 6th formers as they strive for the grades that will get them on to the next stage in their education or training.
During this time, please be aware that there may be timetabling and room changes to your child’s routine. We will prepare them as far as possible in advance.
Can you also talk to your child about showing respect to the work the year 11s and 6th formers are doing by making sure that the school remains a quiet and calm place during this period. We will not be able to tolerate any behaviour that disturbs the school and exams.
