Dear Parents and Carers,
I am emailing you to let you know how impressed I am with the way the year 11s and 6th formers have gone about their GCSE exams this week. Students have been a credit to you with their preparation, punctuality and the effort and focus they have shown in the exams themselves. I am well aware as to how stressful these can be for some and have been amazed by their brave and mature approach to things. I look forward to more of the same for the rest of the exam season.
I’d also like to thank the year 10 and KS3 students for their generally positive behaviour and attitude around the school. This is so important to allow the students sitting their exams the peace they need to achieve the best they can. There have been some cases where students in the lower years have fallen short of what we expect of them so please can you just remind them that it will be them needing the space to do their exams in a year or two.
